Secondary Management IP Address and Backup Group Leader

You have the option of setting up a secondary management IP address that is used for the backup group leader array. Like the management IP address, the secondary management IP address is a floating address that floats to where the background group leader goes. The secondary management IP address enables you to quickly access the backup group leader in the event that the group leader becomes unresponsive.
NOTE: While adding a secondary management IP address is optional, it is a good practice to set one up. If there is not a backup group leader, this address is not used.

The secondary management IP address must be a unique IP address that is on the management subnet reserved for the backup group leader array.
