Modify Global Security Settings

Before you begin

You must have Administrator permission to change the default global security policies for the group.

You can modify the following session policies, account policies, and password policies for a group.

Maximum number of user sessions for a group.
Number of failed authentication attempts allowed before an account is locked.
Minimum number of characters required for a valid password.
Minimum number of uppercase characters required for a valid password.
Minimum number of lowercase characters required for a valid password.
Minimum number of numerical characters required for a valid password.
Minimum number of special characters required for a valid password.
Minimum number of characters that must be different from the previous password.
Number of times that a password must change before you can reuse an old password.
