Network Configuration

A network configuration enables a Nimble Storage array to be accessed and managed from the network, communicate with other arrays in a group, carry data traffic, and replicate volumes. It contains all the network parameter settings on an array, including:

  • Network configuration profiles
  • IP addresses
  • Subnets
  • Routes
  • Network interfaces
  • iSCSI connection
  • Fibre Channel connection
  • VLANs and VLAN tagging

For more information about network considerations during array installation (depending on your topology), refer to the “Network Considerations” section of the Nimble Storage Adaptive Flash Array Installation Guide or the Nimble Storage All Flash Array Installation Guide.
